The Rapiscan Eagle® Fixed is capable of screening up to thirty vehicles per hour. Each vehicle carrying a standard forty or forty-five foot ISO sea container or one or two twenty foot ISO sea containers. Equipped with a 9 MeV linac generator, these systems are powerful enough to penetrate 410 millimeters – over sixteen inches of steel, which yields clear, high-resolution images for excellent object discrimination.

When combined with Rapiscan Systems’ Pulsed Fast Neutron Analysis (PFNA), the Rapiscan Eagle® Fixed becomes the most advanced cargo and vehicle inspection system available. The PFNA component forms a three-dimensional map of the materials inside the container or vehicle. This map is compared to a database of known threats from a user-updatable threat library.
