The Rapiscan Eagle® Mobile utilizes a commercially available solid frame truck chassis as the vehicle to support the imaging system and provide highway transportation.

X-ray may be supplied with a 3-4 MeV linear accelerator or a 450 kV X-ray generator.

As a self-contained system the Rapiscan Eagle® Mobile includes all necessary components to perform mobile scanning of containers, trucks and cargo. In addition to the desirable system attributes of a low cost, small physical size and highly relocatable design, the Rapiscan Systems cargo imaging hardware insures the highest quality x-ray images.

The unique X-ray beam geometry provides the greatest performance in the densest areas of the cargo while reducing the overall dose and size of exclusion areas.

A single boom rotating platform allows operation to either side of the truck while also providing offset scanning angles of 0 to 10 degrees.
