The dual energy Rapiscan 527DV (Dual View) provides a horizontal and vertical view of the object under inspection to improve throughput and security. These two perpendicular views provide a complete perspective of complex parcels regardless of their orientation in the X-ray system. Dual view technology eliminates the need for screeners to reposition and re-scan parcels in high security environments.

The dual energy 527DV provides automatic color coding of materials with different atomic numbers so that screeners can easily identify objects within the parcel.

The Rapiscan 527DV has a large tunnel opening of 1,000mm (39.37 inches) wide by 1,000mm (39.37 inches) high.
