The dual energy Rapiscan 528 is designed for customers requiring inspections of checked baggage and small cargo. Small cargo is placed on the low conveyor for easy loading and unloading. Dual energy imaging provides automatic color coding of materials with different atomic numbers so that screeners can easily identify objects within the parcel. The Rapiscan 528 can be used as a standalone device or integrated into an existing baggage conveyor system.

The Rapiscan 528 has a tunnel opening of 1,000mm (39.4 inches) x 1,000mm (39.4 inches).
